You've met the challenge well, but the composition doesn't work for me. I think the killer for me is the blown highlights at the top and left side are just too much. I love the blown highlights at the end of the road leading your eye down the road with the walkers. I would love to see this shot reworked outside of the dpchallenge restrictions..darken the trees, clone out the sun spots (except at the end of the road...) would be an awesome composition. I'm giving it an 8 for potential.

I like this shot a lot, regardless of the challenge. It would score higher in a "selective focus" challenge, so don't feel bad if you are getting a lot of "looks focused to me" comments. I love the warm tones and the composition.

Cool shot. I think I would have liked it more if the tone of the photo matched to title more...more contrasty perhaps. I like the blurred edges, but I don't like the crane leading the eye out of the photo, perhaps a small black border would have helped. Nice composition otherwise.

It seems like maybe a "tweener"...between abstract and concrete. I think it would have worked better for me for this type of shot if the overall composition was cleaner. I don't mean more in focus, I don't really know how to explain it.

Oh man this is good....What a wonderful eye you have to see and capture this. The lines are awesome and the "centerdness" of the subjects is wonderful. I can't say enough about it. If I could give it more than 10 I would!

Awesome capture! My favorite of the challenge so far. I love the tones..great job on the b/w conversion. My only "critique" would be the shifting of the kids to the right and cutting off the last girl's arm, but the emotion captured on these kid's faces makes up for it.
