I like this subject and the colors, but not too crazy about the HDR treatment. I also like the fact that I can't tell if I'm looking at the inside of this place, all the way through, or reflections of outside, adds to the suspense.

Man that is a scary place, looks like an old hospital, jail or psychiatric ward. Great range of tones and "feeling" in this. Love the 3 windows down the hall which provides me an escape from this wretched place.

Interesting compostion. I like the tone of it, very gray and sad and evokes emotion. This is a strange question but is that stick in the lower right a clone? Looks like 2 identical sticks LOL. It doesn't matter, just wondering.

Very interesting subject and lighting. The crop is a little awkward to me and I'm getting an umbalanced feeling looking at it. I love the warm earth tones in the old boat and the grass along the shore. It would have been great (although perhaps not possible) if you could have isolated one aspect of the slow death.

I really like the earth tones of this building and its character. Some negetives for me that bring down my score. 1. a lack of detail that almost looks like post processing, like a noise reduction or something. I realize that could be the subject matter. 2. Since the subject is the building itself I would have liked to seen more of the structure. Particularly at least one entire window surrounded by the bricks. 3. I don't like the large amount of black in the lower left. I can see a little detail there but not enough to add to the photo. 4. There is banding in the sky. 5. Probably most important for me is subject story. Think about the photo as a sentence, what is the main subject? What are the predicates that support the main subject? With all that being said, it ain't a bad photo at all. 6

It is urban decay but I find the composition lacking something. I wished I could put my finger on it for you. Perhaps if there were more going on in the foreground tracks to place the focus on and throw the background out of focus. I will give it a 6 because I see merit in the photo and nothing technically wrong, it just doesn't work for me. Sorry.

I think you have succeeded wonderfully in depicting the decay that goes un-photographed by typical landscape photographers. It adds so much meaning that it is shot in the traditional landscape mood and with great landscape techniques. One cannot avoid the message.

The b/w tones are not supporting the message to me. I'm drawn to the white shoes and streaks of sun on the back wall, but not sure what they add to the story. I usually assume it is my own ignorance in cases like this :)

I like the composition OK, but the exposure really sets it off, very nice mixture of tones. Back to add that by "sets off" I mean in a very good way :) 9

I'm really enjoying looking at this. Love the deeply saturated colors, grain and chaos.
