The Creation of My New Lifeby angela_packardComment: Very good feeling in this picture. I voted 9 and not 10 because of 2 things. First the hands look "masculine" to me and contrast (not in lighting but feeling) with the rest of the body. It almost looks like jpeg artifacts around the hand or something. Second the white line going from her right forearm down is a little to noticable. That is it...otherwise a perfect 10. |

Exhilaration by escapetoozComment: This is really nice...I think I would have voted 10 instead of 9 if the horizon was level and the jumpers were a little more centered. That may not have been possible because of the bright sun however. Great photo. |

The Gift of Life Eternalby timfythetooComment: There is a simple beauty to this that I love. My 10 comes not from the content (which I greatly appreciate) but the composition, lighting and framing. You did an excellent job and I hope other voters (that don't like the content) will see past that and vote on the photo itself. |

Wake up.by manukarunComment: I'm sorry but I couldn't go above 4 on this. The background is so distracting and clashes with the cute baby so much....It kinda looks like a baby was plopped down on a kitchen table cloth and a snapshot was taken. Sorry for the harsh comment but I wanted you to know why I voted 4. In my opinion the baby doesn't engage the viewer because she is looking up and away from the camera. Also the tight crop doesn't work for me. I think it would have helped greatly to have the baby more upright and with a more muted background. One other thing, the upper corners are distracting because the backdrop wasn't big enough. |

A Bugs lifeby admajicComment: I can't find the bug? Is it the small dark spot on the lower right of the flower? Anyway, I voted a little below average for this because of the harsh lighting and my attention always goes to the underside of that one leaf that is in focus. It seems to grab my attention I guess because the flower isn't as sharp. The light seems so harsh on the flower...The tie to "life" is lost on me because I can't find the bug...so it just seems like a snap shot of a flower.
I like the composition and colors and the good seperation from the background. |

Winter Lifeby yuriytardedComment: I can't see enough detail in the leaves. I think it would have been better with a little more light on them to increase the contrast between them and the background. Also, I think it would have been better with every leaf in focus, the back ones are to oof. Just my opinions....and the reason I voted a little below average. |

The Futureby deanaComment: This would have been very cute and I love the composition but I wished the eyes were more in focus and brighter. |

layers of lifeby aabatkinsonComment: I understand the concept, but I voted low for this because the composition doesn't do much for me. The very bright sun is too distracting and the horizon isn't level. Considering your title, I would have liked to seen more detail in the "layers", as it is I can't make anything out of the trees, grass and water...if that is what it is. |
