Great shot and take on the challenge. Nice touch with the broken bottle, knife and cigs. I love the side lighting like a high window in jail. Excellent composition and contrast. This would have made a great B/W portrait entry too...The only thing negative I can see is the two bright spots on his right side...just a little distracting to me. (9)

I would have like to see more of the fruit husks in focus, It looks like the leaf and the first few fruits are very clear but with such a shallow DOF, the bottom of them is oof. This fact makes my eyes always go to the leaf as the subject (which maybe it is?). I also like the overall tone, but personally I don't like the "turned to gold" look. I also agree with previous commentors about the bright highlight in the back ground being a little distracting. Great composition and overall I like it.

I'm one of the 9s. Great shot. I would have voted 10 if the fence hadn't been cut off on the left side. Great use of s curve and wonderful light.

I voted low for this because the subject (as depicted clearly by the selective saturation) is very much not centered. I would have voted higher if the pole was made the subject.

Great! You kept Mr Od from blending in with the spares with your camera angle which is excellent. The only constructive comment I can make (and is purely a personal opinion) is that I think it would have been a little better (again for me) if the front tire was also in focus so maybe increasing the apeture..Looks like there would have been plenty of light for it?
