Great perspective! This is the kind of shot I had invisioned when I first read the challenge. I think the white balance is a little whacko so the skin color looks odd to me. Overall very interesting shot.

Good job. Probably would have done better in the DOF challenge just knowing how people vote....I like the interesting perspective from the "table shot angle" very much. My vote (7) would have been the same in either challenge.

The Yoga Frog

I think the viewpoint is excellent, and the composition is great. I wished there was more seperation between the subject and background via color or contrast. Also the lighting seems maybe a little harsh killing the form. One other negative for me is that jpeg artifects are very evident around the frog. The size of your jpeg is 82,433 kb so you could have used a higher quality jpeg (get as close to 150 as you can). All just my opinion of course and overall I like the shot.

I normally like darker shots, but there is just too much detail lost in the shadows for me. Also the lighting looks "flat" on the hand like direct flash so it kills any since of mood for me.

This made it to my first page as well, I gave it an 8. The lighting is wonderful and I loved the "eventually an exit" interpretation.

I really like this. The footprints sale me on the challenge topic and make it a 10. It is kinda weird seeing the blue sky, but I'm glad it wasn't drab.

Ok, that is the best "shoehorn" i've ever seen. Without the title = 4, with the title = 7. 3 whole points for a title you ask? Well it is my vote.
