Morning Fresh !by meetpdComment: Great colors and clarity. I realize that this is a shallow DOF challenge so you had to meet it, but I sure would like to see that front petal also in focus :). I meen not for this challenge of course...but just in general. Maybe an outtake or something. Anyway, back to voting...I give it a 7. |

Through the Willowsby vtruanComment: The willows are a little distracting to me, and don't enhance the subject. That is of course just my opinion. Also, I think a less centered composition would have worked better. It would have been so cool if you could have captured the goldeney in a larger "window" so that he would have been framed by the oof willows. Again, just mho and it is a great capture. |

Score!by jfwolpertComment: Good idea but I can't really find anything to focus on. The shadows seem to be the only think in focus. It is an interesting perspective, but I think maybe would have been even more interesting (for me anyway) with the camera actually down in the table and everything in focus. |

maybe tomorrowby PepiticaComment: Freaky...I like it. I wuold have liked it even more without the bright stuff on the table...just the subject alone. Very good perspective which is what the challenge was all about. 7 |

grab & goby gdub1189Comment: Good perspective and meeting of the challenge. The subject (milk carton) is kinda boring for me and the chopped off hand is kinda strange. The lighting seems pretty natural and good although maybe a little on the harsh side for me. Good job. |

Forget the beef, where's the cheese?by cwalmyeComment: The perspective doesn't really seem "alternate perspective not normally viewed" to me. I like silhouettes, but I think I would like it better if it was sharper on the edges of the mouse and can. |

Make a Joyful Noiseby PlanetMakerComment: "The idea is to get a photograph from an alternate perspective not normally viewed"
I can honestly say I have not ever viewed a figurine on a picnic? table with this perspective. You have nailed the challenge perfectly. As far as the picture itself I like it also, but would like to have seen the little dude facing the moon instead of away and out of the picture. 8 |

Brutby riotComment: This is such a hard challenge to vote on because of shots like this. This perspective is obviously from a "table top view" so you can't say it doesn't meet the challenge. I keep thinking about the "not normally viewed" part of the challenge however. Anyway, I really like the shot and give it an 8 only deducting 2 for my own aesthetic opinion of the subject. |
