The Thrill of Youth by DrAchooComment: Excellent, riding along with him to acheive background motion blur with sharp subject focus...why didn't I think of that? 10 |

Childhoodby iamthirdComment: I really like this photo. The little boy in the back is so cute! I also like the splash of color and the spinning softens them (the colors) so nicely. I'm sure you are getting tons of "too small" and the votes you are receiving are reflecting that. I'm not going to do that and will give you a 9. Don't be discouraged if you are scoring low, it isn't because of the photo, only because of the size...(in my humble opinion). |

The One Eightyby notbiscuitComment: Thats so good, I never would have thought of the owl's ability to spin his head like that and incorperate it into a challenge!
As far as the photo itself I would have liked more room for the owl. It is so close to the edge of the frame that I'm having trouble keeping interest in the photo. I think I would have liked a tighter crop (maybe shoulder up). Anyway, thanks for a great interpretation and photo. 8 |

Red Sunby bryanbrazilComment: I really like this, the addition of the red light really balances out the photo well. If the water was calmer at the top of the frame (no texture in the upper reflections) I would have like it even more, although I still give it a 10. |

My Circle of Friendsby davidus428Comment: I did a simular photo, but I don't want to give away too much information to try and change your vote....with that being said you did way better than me with the composition and lighting. The boy looking up is great. I love this low key photo and is a 10 for me. |

Encircledby littlegettComment: I can't imagine other voters will vote high on this, but I give it an 8. I don't like it though. I can see the buzzards circling in my mind...... |

Red Letter Dayby stevieianComment: Also my favorite of the challenge. Congratulations on a new PB and a wonderful photo. What is funny is that the little hand print below the "open" sign really captured my interest. Was the red wall also on the right side of the door? If it could have been cropped a little less on that side the balloons would have had more room and a right side red frame would have closed it all in. |

Well Redby LipstudiosComment: I gave this a 9 when voting and it is on my first page. I'm guessing the only reason it didn't score better is because you didn't use the full 640 width? It is a great concept, well lit and well composed. I'm shocked it didn't score better. There must be a lot of sub 5s given for smaller photos no matter how well they are done? |

Time I used this...by craigesterComment: You still have plenty of time, LOL. Very creative interpretation and nice lighting. I would like to see a little more DOF myself with the whole bud in focus. 8 |
