Swing, Swing, Swingby sherComment: I am glad to see this find it's place within the top 18 shots. I love the angle and the candid expression on her face says it all. Great work as usual Sher! |

he put some tacks on teachers chair...by palmfrodurComment: My eye went straight to the tack on this! I sat here for a few min looking at how much there is in this photo and how small and seemingly insignificant the tack is. This picture says a lot for leadlines and utilization of the rule of thirds. I'm wondering how many comments you are getting about the tack being too hard to find. I had no trouble at all. I find this to be an interesting study. I wonder if I were looking at this picture without the topic in my head if I would still see the tack as quickly as I did. The Eye goes 1st to the large dark patch in the upper left and then follows the leadlines and stops on the tack at the rule of 3rds. Remarkable use of lines and spots to bring such a great amount of attention to such a small area of the picture. 10 |

Shadows of Oldeby fulgentComment: I almost shot this same building for this challenge. What are the chances of that happening? Right behind you is where I shot my first entry for DPChallenge. Great idea, great shadows and good choice for Black/White. 7 |

Pax Vobiscumby jmsetzlerComment: I love the title - Pax Vobiscum - Come unto Me all ye that are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest. Take My Yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am Meek and Lowly in heart, and ye shall find Rest unto your souls.
This is a beautiful capture. The lighting is phenomenal and the subject is quite appropriate for the week of Easter. The detail is remarkable down into the shadows. I simply couldn't improve on this. 10 |
