I really like the slow shutter speed effect here. The greytone is ok, but I would like to see a little more snap to this. Maybe a little more brightness and contrast with a slight hit of saturation.

This is a perfect entry for the "Beach" challenge. It's unusual in perspective and processing. The combination makes an interesting piece. Great textures in the sky as well as the boat and the beach and I really like the dark area at the bottom left. I do like this as a black/white, but I'd love to see the color version too.

A cool story Brad and a great shot to go with it. I wish we could all just photograph people anytime just as we see them. I know I pass by at least twenty people every week wishing I could take their picture. Everyone of them has a story. Just like you and Walter, I will never get to hear it.
