Awesome work!!!
This is one of my top three highest rated shots for this challenge. This is the type of image I truly wish I had the ability to see in the subjects I shoot. I just can't make a small item like this tell a story. You've pulled it off with flying colors. The title is a nice compliment and fits the subject well, but this capture stands strong on it's own and meets the challenge better than most. Your depth of field is perfect in my opinion. Its almost as if you are focusing on the dark area on the other side of the door and really does a great job of pointing the viewer to see what is beyond the door. Excellent in every way!!! 10

yeeeesh..... Seems to have missed the entrance. It's a clean/clear entry with good color and lighting...... but. It's not the type of picture that will have mass appeal to the voters or make them want to hang this one on their wall. Good Luck, 6 from me.

This is one of the best applications I’ve seen for the “pushed” HDR/dragonized looking processing. In general I’m not a big fan of the look. Mostly because the photos I’ve seen it used on would have looked better or more natural, without it. I have seen this techniques done well here on DPC where the HDR adjustments were barely detectable and not pushed to the cartoon stage on landscapes and such. I have seen the dragon filter used only a few times where I have actually liked the effect. You have managed to successfully pair the “pushed” HDR/dragon filter look (for lack of a better word) up with an animated expression. Top-notch work in every way and to date this is my favorite “animated looking” processing here at DPC. High marks from me. Good luck in the challenge

This looks similar to Oak Alley. I really like the human element here along with the bench to balance out the shot. Very cool shot.

Hahaha, Excellent!!! I simply love everything about this. Did you ever consider a wide-angle lens? (Kidding). This is the perfect example of how and when to break the rules of composition. I'm giving this a 9. High marks from me. Good luck in this very competitive challenge.

Just stunning! What a great example of a picture that can pull the viewer back to a similar place. I love the natural lighting here. 8 from me.
