I think this is one of those situations where you had to have seen something like this to understand it. (And I have seen it so I got where you were going with it.) The real story tho is the mom and what she is experiencing. The story of her life is what intrigues me now.

My thought is that I also do not like the blurred post. My eye went to the post first, instead of the bird. What would happen if you dimmed it or even darkened it and highlighted the bird a bit. I'm thinking if you used idnic's "move the light" tutorial? I can show you how that made a difference in my FS pic if you want. I'll post that later in Flickr.

I forgot to say that I think this is a great picture and the motion capture is awesome!

Love the lighting in this and I thought the arrangement of items was very good. I would have figured this to finish ahead of mine. :/
