Sea of Sapphireby bspurgeonComment: ooh you must have slipped the scrubber gods a little bit of candy since they did not take you below 6. What a bummer tho to have lost a bit from rollover. At least the nailbiting is over now lol. Congrats on the score!! |

Red, Ripe And Ready To Eatby J-MeComment: Well too bad for the low score. I don't think it's a 4 photo. Did you use sunlight then? The only drawback is that the light really bounced off the tomatoes while the beautiful greens did not. Looks like a very yummy salad. |

1 Horse Power, Iron Rimsby J-MeComment: In all honesty, i did not put old meets new together. I guess the way my brain works, if I were looking for a comparison of that type, I would rather have seen the cars in the background because then I would have seen the contrast between two items of transportation. I cannot find a link between the carriage and the building other than one is old and one is new. And in a challenge like this, when people are going thru item after item of periodic elements, one has to stop and think about what is being conveyed beyond the carriage here. And then since the building is a puzzle, it becomes an outlier in this challenge. To the voting brain, it suddenly doesn't fit. And then you get the first reactions like I had. Not sure if that makes sense or not.
The processing is interesting. What did you use?
Anyway, I think you have a very interesting scene here, because who would expect this antique to be sitting around an industrial area? What a shame it has not been taken care of more properly. |

- Helium - ( He )by LydiaComment: I liked it. I would have expected this to finish higher. I liked the diagonal leading in and the red color just popped. Nice to include the sky which is where we expect most helium balloons to go lol. Also - great way to demonstrate use of this element. Fun shot :) |

Titaniumby bspurgeonComment: I'm surprised that more people did not get that this is a watch. And I hate to tell you this, but your subliminal message did not work - you only got one 10 hehe :D
Not a bad finish at all. Glad it did well! |

I wish mine would relax like this lol. I forgot to say that ours arrived with a broken tooth as well. My doc said that they could remove it for a couple hundred dollars. I declined lol. And kitty seems to be doing just fine so far. |

One A Day (Ca, P, I, K, Mn, Cr, Mg, Zn, Se, Cu, Cl, Mo, B, Ni, Si, V, Fe)by JuliBocComment: heh - good idea for the elements. I think you could have done this either without the bottom plate or else use a place without the patterns. It makes the photo too busy and takes away from the subject of your photo. Not sure but it also looks like you have different sources of lighting? (like a lamp and sunlight?) Try it with just one source - and see what a different photo you would have. |
