Old Man Weatheredby SandyPComment: I thought this was fabulous Sandy. The mastery of lighting here is impressive. Such amazing tones and textures. I'm glad you finished with a 6+. Congrats! |

Late in Autumnby bucketComment: I loved this one for the subject and the lighting. But I'm curious as to why you left the trees in the background? I'm asking from a wanting-to-learn-more standpoint. |

Tourist Shotby MelethiaComment: Ha! Was not something I was expecting from you. What a fun photo. Don't you wish you could see what she captured? Did she get flare? hehe Did she have to reshoot because she missed the target? I have to tell you, at first glance, I thought this woman was holding her camera up to take a pic of the couple behind her. I thought she was being artsy clever. But she is probably just taking a shot of a pigeon on a historic windowsill. Oh well. Thanks for making me wonder :) |

Seattleby jaysonmcComment: I like how you included the rocks in this. It's kind of weird because I look down at the rocks, and they seem so small. So I expect the rest of your scene to be much farther away. So this makes me question the depth of perception in my head or the perceived size of the rocks. Beautiful tones in this. |

Last Timeby jaysonmcComment: Those look like some seriously fun sledding hills. Interesting contrast between people having fun in the natural environment AND the signs of industry and city life in the background. |

Black Bikeby jaysonmcComment: Several times I have been meaning to comment on this and have failed. So here we go... I love this black and white conversion. It reminds me of something you might see in a jazz bar - it just has that kind of mood. I like the lights on the bridge. They fascinate me for some reason. No clue why lol. Good photo. |
