Copper Beech, Early Springby Bear_MusicComment: I'm not sure why this didn't finish higher, but the scoring in this one was odd. I liked how the tree was centered. Your processing really did a wonderful job in bringing out details and emphasizing the light. |

Oak Treeby SteveJComment: I love it when the sun is shown as a starburst. I wonder how this would have looked in black and white? |

Springby karmatComment: I gave this a 7 so of course I expected this to finish higher. I loved the beautiful blue and white contrasts. I think people sometimes forget that one of the best parts of trees are the flowers. :) |

a closer lookby posthumousComment: I like bokeh and closeups so I liked this one, of course. I love that the emphasis has been placed on the new leaves getting ready for spring and summer. |

Broken Spiritby rodfulkComment: I loved the idea of the broken tree amongst the other survivors. But my preference is to usually see the subject in focus and like others said, this seems soft. Since you used topaz, you may want to try this in black and white too to see what happens. |

Shape Shiftingby BrianRComment: I loved the color in this - so bright and vibrant! Is that an area normally covered by water? |

IMG_9892container.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: this is cool, for sure. It looks like some kind of ice sculpture that has been melting for a bit. lol i'm just laughing at you coming up with this idea of dipping the plastic in the boiling water... sounds like something my boys would do. :) |

Under the Boardwalkby cginoComment: Very clever with the rotation. I was disoriented a bit lol. I love how the topaz enhanced the details of the cement supports. |

Camouflageby karenkComment: love the beautiful, bold spots. I'd say don't worry about the background since the leopard is the star of the show :) |
