How appropriate that you saved a photo from Ireland as one of your best for 2009. I'm sure it brings back fond memories to look at all your shots. I've never been there but I will say that i would not have expected to see a scene like this. The cloud-covered green rolling hills (mountains, whatever, etc.) is so beautiful!

lol distortion? man i don't see it. Shows you what I know. What I really liked about this was the fog. I just love how it looks like a big monster, ready to take over the building. Too bad there weren't some Macy's Day Parade balloons escaping at this moment hehe. Great shot!

I never would have guessed that this was yours. I liked the house but I really found all the tiny people to be quite intriguing. Must have been so pretty to see in person. Congrats on doing so well in the "best of"!

I didn't get far enough in commenting. I really thought this was a beautiful piece but it made me quite sad. I love Canadian geese and when I saw this one had passed I just felt bad for it. I hope it did not suffer.

The black and white tones are perfect for the mood.
