DAY 2. minimal edit project . gumsby rozComment: Great composition and love the lighting on the trees. Have you tried to convert this to black and white to see what it looks like? I'll be looking forward to seeing how you edit this! |

Day 1 - Churchby Bruce_the_RobertComment: Love the composition and the lighting on the steeple. The blue sky and clouds are a lovely background and the branches add nice framing. Can't wait to see how you edit this! |

Basking in the glory of an Oscar.by jblaylockraynerComment: I didn't vote in this challenge so I am not the "1" vote lol. I love the perspective, the lighting, the clouds. But to me, the building on the left detracts from the main subject. And what's up with the chili peppers on his shirt? lol. You crazy California people :o) |

countdown timer...by asimchoudhriComment: I obviously do not know much about low key shooting but I like the use of black and white here. I did not get to vote on this during the challenge, but the only thing that I cannot put together is the abacus and the wording on the box? i would have forgone the box and tried a black background to absorb the shadow from the light. Personally, I think your lighting here is excellent! |

The Glass is Half Fullby baco99Comment: I'm surprised this did not score higher. It is a good pic. And except for one, you got some really good comments there. For something like this where you are playing with the lighting, try adding a solid background and see what happens. should be an interesting effect. I didn't get to vote on this but i would have given this a 7! |

Sans Cremeby dsternerComment: Really good idea! The trick is how to take pics of glass items that build up condensation while taking the pic lol. That is something I have not figured out yet! |

Fire and Iceby justamistereComment: Nice job, John. Great contrast with the fire (what is that from?) and the cold ice chunks. The color and clarity are excellent! |
