Losing My Religionby Bruce_the_RobertComment: A very interesting photo. Love the emotion. I think the selective desat is interesting but for me, it would have added more drama if a little more of the sky on the right were included in the desat. Also I just now see the cross on the left and it's almost a little too dark - just blends into the background. Lots of stuff to look at! Good luck! |

Windowby posthumousComment: I've looked at this a couple of times I think because of the two black blotches at the bottom of the window. Everyone keeps saying cats, cats and I cannot find them. And so today - I see the kitty. I am a person who looks at a whole picture and usually misses the finer details. So at least today I got past that obstacle.
I was looking at it from the perspective of a picture within a picture. Love the way the reflections jump out of the picture and that the black blotches at the bottom pulled me away from the rest.
My initial preference would have been that there be a little less glare on the kitty face - I guess for the quick glancing people like me. However, now that I have found the kitty, I really do enjoy it the way it is. |

Trioby cpanaiotiComment: I don't usually like the soft fuzzy pics but what brings this together for me are the three shiny droplets on the one stem. I love the colors in the abstract background. Your foreground has captured a subject that most likely often gets overlooked. Beautiful! |

Colin, can you hear me? OMG!!! Colin? Colin!!!!!!!!!!!!by jonfrommkComment: lol Jon - bizarre! Did the gummy head get bitten off? I think I'd like to see you move your lens back a little to get better focus on the items. The shadow creates some kind of ominous mood. And like Karen said, change the perspective a bit.
I personally think this is funny but my sense of humor does not match what rides with a lot of voters. |
