Canal Lock Balancing Armsby jonfrommkComment: First, always submit what you like. Then rejoice in those who get it lol. And alas, I was one who did not. I musta been a speed voter that day. I was one of your 5's. I remembered thinking that I loved how the item in the foreground was sharp and really caught your attention. Then of course I did not see the one in the background lol. I'm usually unobservant about these things anyway. :) If your intended focus was to be the two locks, I am wondering how a different perspective might have looked? (Maybe so that the front lock is actually lower in the pic.) Also on my screen, the black of the second lock just got lost in the background. Anyway, keep submitting pics you like - what fun would it be if you didn't? :D |

Dam(n) Fine Architectureby jonfrommkComment: I thought this was Hoover Dam. Loved your title. I've never seen it from this perspective before. Pretty good job for taking this from a moving object. Love that you can see the light reflection in the water. Excellent black and white contrasts! |

Crossed legsby MelethiaComment: I just love how your subject is in focus and has great clarity (especially with the use of black and white). Wonderful use of DOF and natural lighting. |

Forkedby MelethiaComment: Perfect title to explain the week you had Deb. Great way to turn your emotions into a simple and striking picture. Love the reflections.
Crossing my fingers in the hopes that you will be inspired soon to take uplifting pics of utensils. :D |
