Love the contrast of the statue with the dark trees and sky. What's cool about this is that your description gave me a better understanding about how the camera would naturally darken the sky. That happened to me today and I was wondering about it. Now you say there are no blown highlights, but on my screen it seems to me that detail is lost in part of the hands and the shoulders. Not being critical, trust me lol, just trying to see if I do not understand the terminology or if it's my monitor.

Personally I like the red trees. Makes the branches pop out from the dark leaves. The sky is gorgeous.

Aww what a sweet pea. Happy belated birthday to your baby! Mine turned 5 in June and I was thinking, boy he'd never sleep in a room this bright lol. Love all the colors and the precious moment.

I think I like the composition in the first one because the shadows seem to be more balanced or symmetrical. Not that this is a bad pic lol. It's beautiful and I love the vibrant colors. I have trouble catching yellows and these look so pretty!!

The eyes are kind of freaky and funny that you caught the tongue. To me this seems to be a bit out of focus. And to put greater emphasis on the face, I would like to have seen a better contrast between light and dark.

Ouch sorry but the nipple ring caught my attention. Too me, the nakedness doesn't create any extra emotion other than "ouch". I think that you could have achieved a sexy effect really by just focusing on her face. Her eyes and expression carry the mood.

Very pretty. Love the blue sky and the reflection in the water. The base of the mountains look purplish on my computer screen. Did the light give off that hue?
