ok, yes, this is making me laugh. I'm trying not to, but I cannot help it. I'm speechless and cannot think of anything good to say other than too bad you took this before the flora challenge because it would have been fun to see what kind of reaction this would get in a challenge.

I saw this during the challenge and my first thought was that it looked like someone was photographing this underwater, looking up. And everything was kind of swirling down. The soft light creates a beautiful dreamy feeling.

Love the contrast of the statue with the dark trees and sky. What's cool about this is that your description gave me a better understanding about how the camera would naturally darken the sky. That happened to me today and I was wondering about it. Now you say there are no blown highlights, but on my screen it seems to me that detail is lost in part of the hands and the shoulders. Not being critical, trust me lol, just trying to see if I do not understand the terminology or if it's my monitor.

Personally I like the red trees. Makes the branches pop out from the dark leaves. The sky is gorgeous.
