Outcastby JuliBocComment: I love how the greens and spots of orange also match the background. I think I would have liked to have seen either more of the chair in focus or the part in the foreground. However I don't think the background is a distraction, it works well with the whole theme of the pic. |

Birds and Shadowsby raishComment: This one is quite beautiful and I would have expected it to score higher. I love how it looks like the birds are flying towards the shadow tree. |

Taking A Roundabout Routeby jonfrommkComment: Too bad this did not score higher - it's a really good pic. The competition must have been pretty tough in this one. I like the tree in the foreground as it seems to be holding up the center of the round. Also fun - it looks like there's a ghost in the bottom triangle - pretty cool! |

Ostrich Arriving 2009by jaysonmcComment: Oh look, Jayson does work in color lol. During the challenge this struck me as such a quirky photo - which I liked of course. Your title made me stop and look. I think the one thing that stood out for me was that it looks like there's graffiti on the ostrich pic. Guess 2009 doesn't come early enough for some folks. ;) |

Time held me green and dying...by krnodilComment: I think my fave part of this was the dark toned water color background. I liked the forcus on the blue berries - it makes them stand out from all the others, even the blurred ones. I like the composition. My guess is that many did not see the comparison between the two groups (although, i have to admit, I'm still looking for the mushrooms!) :) |

Shadowed Shovelby MelethiaComment: I love how the shadow makes you realize that you actually are looking at a shovel. Gorgeous contrast between the yellow and the brownish rust. Congrats on the top 20! |

Marginaliaby xianartComment: I love how you carry the antiquish theme thru many of your shots. Love the spot focus and the brownish tones. And reading your notes makes this even more interesting! |

The Forgotten Horsemenby CharleneComment: I love the background. You have truly captured the essence of Christmas town here! The lighting looks great and I love the starburst lights. |

Far from Homeby levyj413Comment: I thought this was beautiful! I love the silhouettes and with the piano there, it just reminds me of some kind of symphony production. |
