Oh yeah this does look great in black and white! The statues really pop out now. I'm guessing that since the picture is bigger that the statues seem more prominent? Really nice job with the edit!

I never would have guessed this was IR. My first thought was that I see scenes like this all the time here and I would never be able to make mine look as good as this. The sky is so dramatic and I like that the tree is reaching up to touch the clouds. I think your perspective and black and white contrasts make this typical country scene so much more striking.

Great capture of lighting - I love how you can see everything from the foreground to the background. I like that the black and white tones down the blue neon sign a bit and gives it a little more of an old world feel.

I have to say that I don't like the tilt either and the vignetting highlights that. However, it does convey a sense of something rocking on water or that someone was drunk and leaning hehe. I like the wire mesh and the selective dodging on the rails.

I do like this better in black and white. The moment you captured is quite interesting. I'm fascinated by the fact that he is smoking a pipe! It's such a peaceful scene and it makes me wonder if he got to enjoy life this way at home too. What a contrast to compare this moment to what he might actually face during the rest of his day.
