I don't feel the top part is too much of a distraction. It gives the viewer something else to look at IMHO. I love the lighting you captured coming thru the glass and also on the little boy. What a beautiful and curious moment you have here!

Well this would certainly explain the strange glow in the eastern night sky. :) I was wondering if one of you Cleveland area people was gonna take this on. I would say that yes, there's more to look at in this one than the original lol. It's nice that you included the stadium too.

Ahhh wish I had thought of this. To add the border is brilliant! In the original, your eye wandered all over the screen. Now the border helps the eye to focus on something. However, your I would have preferred to see even thickness on all sides of the border. Since some of the sides are out of balance, I cannot give you a higher than a 4. :)

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but my preference is actually the original photo. There's something particularly spooky in that one with it looking like the kitty is ready to leap at you. This one it looks like kitty is ready to scratch out the carpet. Nice imitation of color tho!

Needs more pigeons! hehe ok with that said...

I personally think it is very cool that the hand is in the photo, making it look like the statue is the one feeding the birds. I also love the title - suggesting a deeper meaning to the photo.
