My Opinion This is an alright shot but the bright water in the foreground has totaly thrown the cameras metering system. The background is more in focus than the forground and the ducks are too dark and the water too bright I dont see any reference to travel in this photo it could just be the duck pond in your neighborhood park.
I hope your camera has been fixed as it is a good camera with a nice range of options.

My Opinion Composition A good idea that didn't quite come off Maybe if you could have stopped the motion of at least one person or got the background more focused. But it does meet the challenge.

Composition A nice photo but I think it would have been improved by cropping the right hand side off at the tree.
Camera work I think the ev could have been set down a little perhaps bracketing would have helped
My Opinion A nice vacation Photograph which doesnt say travel to me! How did you get there if there was some indication in the photo even just a hiking bag!

My Opinion
This does not work for me it is to centered with too much darkness around it The concept is interesting and the green is very vivid but I think you have a lot of noise in the background. I am surprised by this as your camera is a 4mp with 4x optical zoom! Did you have the digital zoom switched on as well? It would have been better to have rather taken the image at top resolution and cropped to what you wanted.

Composition Good! I like the way you have cropped this!
Background - The colur and the background is good it complements but does not distract.
Camera work Focus is spot on but your lighting is too harsh it has blown out the hair in the top right and made rather harsh pathches of light and shadow on her face.
My Opinion
A very good first attempt at potraiture!
