Behindby RKTComment: The light is lovely, and you have maximised the colour of the 'turned' leaf beautifully. I am less keen on the inclusion of the drooping leaf that seems to be pushing its way into the fore-ground. |

Beyond repairby SockMuiComment: I really like this, but it does remind me that I need to learn how to focus stack. I would mark it higher if the dof was greater. |

Early Autumn by MAKComment: now that is a lot of foliage! I bet it looks even more spectacular this week - the challenge was a week or two too early for the full range of autumn colours. A very pleasing scene, nicely composed. 7. |

Every journey comes to an endby pgirish007Comment: I get why you have included so much background - part of your story, but I find that the white shape - a bridge maybe? - fights for attention. I would probably have scored higher if it was an 8x10 crop, cropped at the top of the highest reed. 6. |

Overgrowthby Adamsw216Comment: What a delightful little feature to have in your garden! I rather wish that the leaf of the fern wasn't up quite so very tight to the left hand edge, and I do feel that the bright fronds of foliage in the top right pull the eye too much, but none the less a pleasing photo. 6. |

Gone with the windby NeatComment: Oh, this is gorgeous!
Back for another visit - I think this is my favourite of the challenge. Lots of reasons why it could be voted down - a lack of critical sharpness, the lack of eye contact with the viewer, a non-traditional balance to the composition - but these are all things that in this instance enhance the image. I find it immensely engaging, whilst quite challenging. |
