"The Three Sisters"by ThaiComment: Rather a lot of empty foreground and perhaps to many scattered sheep to be truly aesthetically (sp?)pleasing. |

Well you didn't come for the weatherby mambaComment: Focus is a bit soft and there isn't much detail in the rather dark castle. There seems to be a it of a bright halo around the castle - although that may be my monitor, perhaps. |

Old Westby cryingdragonComment: I don't care for the writing in red - it makes the card seem cluttered, and I find it quite hard to read. |

Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffieldby PegasusComment: Umm not one of the more interesting Yorkshire scenes... I don't feel this really works as a postcard - too much 'negative space' and the font style, size and positioning doesn't do much to enhance it. |

Pittsburgh Skyline on a Rainy Nightby nickbComment: Whilst the concept of an arial photo of the city at night is good, and you have found a potentially good vantage point, I don't feel you have really pulled it off. The focus on the city itself seems too soft, and the inclusion of the railings is distracting. |

Fresh Pepperby KhalanComment: The burned out highlights caused by the flash are rather ugly and distracting. |

Greetings from Islandby martinsaarComment: Weird - I can't work out what I am looking at. The photo doesn't seem to meet the challenge, at least on the face of it.
Edit - On reflection my earlier comment seems a bit harsh - I still can't work out what the photo is of (a cross between lips and translucent underwater slugs...?), but it is strangely hypnotic. As a postcard that is a souvenir, I feel it doesn't really work, but think it might be better without the text, just as a standard card. |
