Red Fields of Sugarcaneby sherpetComment: I am not particularly keen on your post-processing. The canes actually change colour as they hit the horizon, and the horizon itself seems tobe showing signs of chromatic abberation. I suspect that you have boosted the contrast level a great deal - personally I would have prferred a more subtle approach. |

Uncle Sam's Prescribed Relief!by littlegettComment: I was so suprised to see that this photo wasn't in the top ten - never mind so far down the rankings. I was very impressed by it - the texture, graininess and darkness add to the overall sense of sadness, desperation,seediness. I find it powerful, and it certainly had the most profound effect on me of any photo in the challenge. |
