What are you looking at?!by sickdogComment: The composition here is alittle tight for my taste, and the photo has a rather washed out appearance. There is something about the texture (or perhaps lack of) of the dog's coat and the boy's hand that bothers me. |

Street Marketby brettt83Comment: Whilst this is a photo of a street scene, it doesn't draw me in and ask questions about the lives of those depicted. The scene is very busy, and it is hard to make out details - I feel that it would have been more beneficial to centre in on just one of the groups of people. |

Music Teacher: A Kids Perspective - "I ...said...On...FOOOUUUURRRR!!!"by cogeroxComment: Sorry about the DQ - had this still been in the challenge when I voted, I would have give it an 8. The idea and composition is superb. The only thing that lets it down (and only a little) for me is the slightly soft focus and perhaps the lighting. Would be interested to see a re processed version with some burning etc. |

IMG_3080--1_filtered-640427.jpgby nards656Comment: I spotted this in the 'recently uploaded' section, but didn't note whose it was - I am really glad to re-find it. This sort of scene is really tricky to compose and expose well, but you have succeeded on both counts - nice one! |

Punctualityby NerdJNerdBirdComment: The only ten I gave out in this challenge was to this photo - I really did expect to see it the top ten at the very least. To me it nailed the challenge and the technicals are all good, especially the outstanding composition. Most importantly, 'though, it tells a story and provides the viewer with a feast of visual stimulus, but without over-bombarding the senses. Reviewing the photo again after close of voting, I stand by my vote of 10. Good one! |

Sprouting a Peaby eris_starComment: In terms of the challenge, I can relate to this entirely. I do, though, wish that it was in much sharper focus - the problem is that you have selected such a narrow depth of field that the bean cannot be in focus at the same time as the shoot; whilst shallow dof is usually good in macro photography, in this case it is just too shallow. |

Seberityby actnoutComment: A nice composition, but let down by overly soft focus; did you use any USM prior to saving for web? The title has lost me, I'm afraid. |
