Classic by JudiComment: Yay! I am so pleased this got the Blue; very well deserved, and certainly my favourite of the challenge. |

Xtra Redby bigfellaComment: There are things about this that I really like, but also bits that I dislike:
Pros: The shadow of the tree that almost perfectly matches up with the real tree is amazing, and really well spotted. The composition is sound, and I particular like the inclusion of the tank(?) in the background, which helps to provide depth.
Cons: Over-saturated for my taste, and also (I think) over-sharpened - the branches and twigs are somehow 'wrong'. |

chess clockby whiterookComment: That is loads better - much more as I see things; most of your photos look as though you are viewing the world through a fog, rather like looking through steamed up or finger printed glasses. |

Starletby adeldeganComment: 286th place? I am astounded; I really did expect to see this in the top 30 at the very least! I gave it a 10, although viewing it agin I would probably drop that to 9 - the phto could do with a bit more in the black range - on my moitor I can't actually see any true blacks. I reckon this is one to work on more - in particular look at alternative ways of converting to B&W; I don't have the full version of Photoshop, but I have heard that using the channel mixer can produce the most satisfying results. Departureby EVincentComment: What a shame yu cut ff the tip of the seed pod; apart from that this is really strong, with excellent focus. |
