You've Got Spamby muur88Comment: This makes for a great candid'street' photograph, but loses marks from me in terms of this particular challenge. Had the woman been engaging in some way with her phone, I suspect I would have scored much higher or had the advert featured a mobile, but as it is the mobile seems entirely incidental to the, admitedly good, photo. |

Pointilism Benchby samnotisComment: 'I hope somebody likes it' - well, I did, and gave it an 8. I can't believe it is languishing down near the bottom of the rankings. The soft focus was lovely, and yes, I do think the noise gave it the feel of a pointilism painting. And I still like it, too! |

War Of The Worldsby rosiehallComment: I had expected to see this much higher in the rankings (I gave a 7)! I liked the idea, the composition, and felt the grain added a positive dimension to the image - so many entries to this challenge appeared to be good photos that had noise added to make them fit the challenge, thus ruining the photo in the process. |

out for a skate...by ralphComment: Whoa, only 5.2? I loved this, and gave it a 9 - to my eyes the composition is outstanding and the background, while a little strange, compliments the photo perfectly. The grain looks 'right' with the photo helping to suggest cold and winter, rather than with some where it appeared as though it had just been slapped on to fit the challenge.... |

Lostby RolandBComment: I thought this image strong - it certainly evoked emotion in me, and had expected to see it higher in the rankings. I gave it a 7, losing points for the background which didn't entirely seem to fit with the figure (that said I rather liked the abstract feel it gave). |

Lakesby BAMartinComment: I have to agree with Dylan, I think this would be a great candidate for a panoramic crop, losing a tad over the bottom quarter and possibly some from the top as well (although perhaps not, as you would lose the intensity of the blue). The colours really are lovely. |

Too Late?by h2Comment: This is my favourite of your recent crop of candids - the central character is extremely well isolated from the bustle of the city, but with plenty in the oof backround to give a sense of place. Personally I feel the composition is just right as it is. You have done a good b&w conversion, I am curious as to your method. Good work all round! |

What The Handle Sawby taljComment: I had expected to see this much higher in the rankings - I enjoyed your creative take, and it was one of my highest rated photos. |
