Solitaireby kiwinessComment: Excellent pose and composition, and good use of the light - I would guess you used a reflector to keep the shadows away from the left side of her face? I do wish her fingers and nails weren't blurred, and the patch of light to the left is a bit distracting, although obviously outside of the challenge it can be cloned out.Good work. |

morning bluesby boodComment: As a viewer I almost get the feeling that I am the mirror - very strange - effective, but strange! |

Trail Breakby jjusaComment: A very good example of environmental portraiture. I admire everything about this, and may 'steal' your idea for a portrait of my daughter (she won't normally let me take her photo, but one with her beloved race bike might be on..) |

Wild Oneby wsteynComment: That hair is so cute - and does give a rather wild feel! The light is really good, especially with the shadows across the face, and I am impressed with how well you have controlled the exposure. I do, very much, wish the child's face had been cleaned first... |

Austinby karenkComment: There is something I find very appealing about this portrait, but at the same time something slightly unsettling. The photography is very good, but I have some reservations about the processing, although I can't quite place what it is I don't like - perhaps it is that the eyes are too white, and the skin too smooth. Nonetheless, a good portrait. |

The Pathby chriswithredhairComment: I like this - the happy smile, the apparent spontaneity, the graze on the arm, the leading line of the path. |

Every Little Girl's Dreamby LaMasComment: This is very lovely, and a portrait most parents would love to have of their little girl! Your use of light is exceptionally good, and the exposure spot on. My only caveat is that the way the selective desaturation gives the photo something of a feel of a portrait taken in front of a poster size photo. |

nymphby lowonenergyComment: The play of light on your model's hair is gorgeous, and I do lie the composition very much. I am less keen on the seeming colour caste on the model's face. |

Wild Catby KLMComment: Focus is rather soft; the twigs in front of the cat's face are distracting. I have no idea if capturing photos of Wild Cats is difficult, but in any case,as a portrait, this doesn't work for me. |

SpontaneouS ...by MesharyComment: The post-processing is definitely not to my taste, and I have never found photos of children dribbling attractive... |
