dineby nixterComment: I am really pleased to have found this again - it left a big impression on me when I viewed it during the challenge, but then I 'lost' it. The composition is dramatically powerful, but it is the sense of aloneness (as opposed to loneliness) that is evoked that provided the lasting impression for me. Into my favourites so that I can find it whenever I want! |

Green Burstby jerseyjimComment: Well, I stand by my vote of 9, and actually see even more in this that I like! The composition is subtle and provides much of the photos success for me - the yellow in the lower right corner, with the burst of green fanning out from it. i love the dichotomy of the sense of frenetic activity and energy provided by the foreground bokeh contrasting with the serene peacefulness of the background that we get a peak of - had the background been more visible it would have reduced the impact considerably. |

The Contortionistby e301Comment: I should have guessed who the photographer was since you are already one of the few listed as a one of my favourites! For a fairly off-the wall entry 16th is pretty good placing - there is hope for DPC yet...
Wow, I have just noticed this was taken in York - freaky! I haven't been into town in ages, this has reminded me that I must. |

Susie 2by QuigleyComment: The pose suits your model so well - a really quirky look, that works perfectly. |

Skip-hop.by remboComment: This is super - the expressions on the girls' faces are delightful, and show a real immersion in their game. |

The Cauchy boundary condition:by taseComment: Differential equations - in fact maths in general - was never my strong point, and I am really struggling to understand the photograph in terms of both its title and the challenge. That said, as an image I do like it - the composition is cool, with its diagonal leading line running from bottom left to top right combined with the dimishing perspective. |
