riseby macrothingComment: This is such a pretty abstract macro - the colours are almost other-worldly. Beautiful. |

winter laneby bvlindalouComment: I really like the simplicity of this image - the crop adds to the sense of atmosphere. It rarely snows where I live, although yesterday we did have a covering of at least 1cm! I do love watching the flakes come down, and scenes like this where the snow is virgin and pure, unadulterated by footsteps. |

Katie & Fred - Day 29by sherpetComment: This is just wonderful Shez. i love the intensity of interaction between Katie and Fred, and the expression on Katies face and in her eyes. This is a beautiful portrait that reveals something of the person - super work, and one for the wall! |

It should be here somewhereby CamabsComment: Originally posted by EducatedSavage: My apologies as well, Mark (if I may be so bold) - I didn't see the shadows at all and I really took my time looking at this. In the Posthumous Ribbons thread I IMMEDIATELY saw it and felt quite the dolt! A brilliant idea and well done - if I could change the score I gave you now I most certainly would! |
I am just the same - I came back to the photo a few times duing voting and STILL didn't see what was (in retrospect) so obviously there, yet when I viewed the thumbnail in the Posthumous thread I 'saw' it straight away. Apologies from me for my low score. Message edited by author 2008-01-02 06:15:33. |

Tigerby meyersComment: Another entry that I voted high that has finished low! A lovely, sympathetic cat portrait revealing bags of texture. |

A Brittle Baubleby jaxterComment: How on earth did this finish so low? I thought it lovely as aphotograph in its own right, and fitted the challenge too. |

Crudeby TejComment: I had hoped - and expected - to see this finish much higher; it was one of my favourite of the chllenge. |
