The Business Man Comethby e301Comment: Looks very like York to me, near the train station! A good tonal range, although the contrast between the dark tones of the stonework with the whited out sky is a bit much for my taste (if I am right and it is York, I reckon it was taken on the same day as mine...). The composition uses leading lines as a compositional device rather than including them without a clear purpose and thus the photo fits the challenge well; I particular like the way the businessman's shadow acts as a leading line to its owner! |

road to ...by fotojoeComment: Certainly there are lines here, and they all lead to one point, but not to a subject but a vanishing point. |

Lonely Nightby trnqltyComment: One of the best I have seen so far. The lines serve a purpose in the composition, leading the eye first to the figure, and then on out to the wider dusk. The sense of dejection, perhaps of a potential turning point in the man's life is palpable. |

A Drop in the Oceanby adukaComment: Excellent use of leading lines as a compositional device the two sets clearly draw the eye to the water drop. A very pleasing photo. |

Musical Linesby Jacques123Comment: Certainly lines, but as a compositional device are they leading to anything, or are theythe subject in their own right? |

Elephant Crescentby MoykitfungComment: Now those are some inmpressive leading lines! the tight framing suits the picture well, and helps to minimise the obvious ditractions. |
