Calm Before The Stormby JimiRoseComment: Quite strange seeing this, even though it is a pretty famous landmark, as a similar photo was entered in my local photography societies annual print competition. The phenomenally deep depth of field is key to the success of this phot, I feel, combined with the impressive level of detail in the cathdral itself. Excellent work. |

High Catchby JonathanJComment: I feel this may have benfitted from a somewhat slower shutter speed to provide a stronger sense of motion. As it is, it has, to my eye at least, a somewhat posed look. I do realise thta this is probably as a reult of good timing combined with a very fast shutter speed, but here a bit of blur may help. |

Watching the Dancersby OmanOtterComment: To my very western eye, this is a truly interesting photograph. I love the mixture of expressions you have captured, and the exposure of the white kandooras is spot on - the only negative is the brown trousered knee that has crept in to the left of the frame. |

The Three Musiciansby jegerComment: Oh, very nice! i like the receding depth of field - helps to bring the texture of the lead elephant to the fore. |

Gulls in Flightby kleskiComment: love the repetition of the gulls. I have tried for a similar shot on numerous occasions, and failed, so have some admiration for this! |

Leaving the day behind....by SpizzerComment: There is something indefinable that I find incredibly appealing about this photograph. i think it is down to the light and the trail of the boat and the puddles of the blades, combined with the simplicity - it all just works for me. |
