Robin - detailby SimmsComment: Lovely detail on this robin, and you have captured a real sense of oneness with nature. I do, though, wish you hadn't framed quite so tight, and had left a little more room to the left of the beak. |

Fire Danceby jjcmontanaComment: Interesting, and matches your title very well. I wonder if it would be possible to process so that the 'glow' around the stem and leaves could be lost? |

Coolby KarenNfldComment: Cool in both senses, and well exposed revealing a good level of textural detail. Ultimately, though, not enough to keep my attention. |

Stephenby KelliComment: Certainly gaining points for capturing such a wonderful expression and sense of vitality and fun. The composition is god, and the setting a really good choice. It is such a shame that there is so much visible noise/JPEG artifacts, as it does detract from the image. |

Interior by LouisComment: I really like this, and it is certainly one of the stronger entries, but I do wish it wasn't sharpened to the point where every pore is visible. |

Avedon Inspirationby cyclingtmbComment: I wonder if this was taken from behind a screen? There is a textural effect visible on the hair and part of the helmet that to my eyes at least doesn't really add anything to the overall image, and the overall feel is one of soft focus, where for this subject I feel a sharper image would be more suited. It is a shame that the helmet strap is undone - I think the model would look more single-mindedly focussed with it fastened. |
