Very good detail in the plumage, excellent control of exposure in what look to be pretty challenging lighting conditions, and bokeh that sets off the bird (kookaburra?) to advantage.

The balance of the composition is good, and I like the idea of the photo. I am not sure that you have been entirely successful with your low key technique, though. The blocked out shadow areas in the clenched fingers don't hold any detail, yet nor are they black, on my monitor just a dark murky grey as though the area doesn't exist!

Aside from haloing around the bill - perhaps from over-sharpening, or from going over the edges with the dodge tool - this is excellent. The level of detail is really good, and the composition adds interest.
