It took me some time to work out what the silhouette was - I couldn't get the child's hand initially. A nice idea, although it hasn't entirely worked for this viewer.

I would have been tempted to go for a deeper depth of field to show off those wonderful feathers. i also feel that you could have afforded to boost the saturation and contrast a little - as it is the photo does appear a little flat. I suspect that the photo was taken with the sun fairly high - I have had most success with photographing peacocks when the sun is lower and the light coming from the side; it seems to bring out the colours and texture more.
