Bird nestby bjprasadComment: The photo may not be the best technically, but by capturing the bird (a bunting of some sort?) in the process of weaving it's nest, as a part of a natural history study it is invaluable. |

Checkin the Fieldsby PikkelComment: I am not particularly keen on the use of colour in the sky - I would probably prefer a straight monotone, and perhaps with abit more contrast. What I do like though, i the strong narrative and composition. |

Whitbyby Mark1966Comment: One of my favourite places! I like this composition, and the tone-mapping works well to bring out the sky as well as the land and water. It is a bit of a shame that the colour of the cottages on the harbour side has been leached out, as that is one of the aspects of Whitby that i find most charming. |
