Salt Marsh at Winter's Endby Bear_MusicComment: I remember thinking this might be yours when I voted. The grasses intrigue me with the patterns they make - I wonder if they lie flat because of the weight of the snow that has rested on them, or because of flooding from the stream. A really pleasing composition. |

walkingby jaysonmcComment: I like this a lot, it evokes feelings of care-free summers. I think it appeals to my romantic notion of the person I want to be... |

...he loves meby bmartuchComment: She certainly looks a little gem - I really liked the way her body was turned away from the viewer, and that she was turned towards us - it somehow gives the feeling that the viewer has called out to her and she has turned to see who is calling. A very pleasing portrait. |

Flawlessby raishComment: Flawless, indeed - I actually gave this a 4 for the fact that I liked the concept. |

36.52 Raceby MelethiaComment: I like this very much - evokes the same sort of feeling as the shots of the little girl that we took in St Peter's square. |

leaving you behindby skewsmeComment: This photo has actually made me cry. I am sitting viewing it with tears pouring down my cheeks. Thank you.
Edit, I am now viewing this on my horrible work monitor - I can not make out the face at all! No change to my vote of 10, as I only ever vote based on my home monitor. |

Bus Ride to the Church for All Soulsby dainmcgowanComment: Back to comment - easily my favourite of the challenge, and one of only two 10s I gave. The streak of the bus is really interesting - little more than a streak of colour, and yet it siomehow retains sufficient form to be immediately clear. Sometimes, more often than not perhaps, this style of processing can look a little contrived, rather twee, but here it works for me. |
