Open for Businessby PrismComment: A Paeony? The flower shows well against the black background, although the light is a tad on the harsh side. The wide depth of field, allowing for the whole of the flower to be in focus makes for an interesting image. I do though, find the bud in the foreground very distracting. |

Lilyby crikComment: A pretty flower, well exposed, good focus, good background, but the overall effect is badly damaged by the heavy black border - white would seem to be much more in keeping with the mood of the image. |

THINK PINKby dfstevensonComment: This photo doesn't really work for me. The very narrow depth of field has resulted in out of focus petals to the front of the flower, and these seem to act almost as a barrier. My brain struggles to make sense of the jumble of petals presented. |
