 Took this shot in the morning after 3 days of rain. I was surprized to find the peonies still in bloom as these are normally a June flower. It has been such a cool year that everything is behind its usual growth time.

PP included, adjustment layers for brightness/contrast, levels and exposure. Touched up a couple of over-exposed bits on some of the petals.

A Paeony? The flower shows well against the black background, although the light is a tad on the harsh side. The wide depth of field, allowing for the whole of the flower to be in focus makes for an interesting image. I do though, find the bud in the foreground very distracting.
