This is just absolutely stunning. A photo that made me gasp when it opened on my screen. I have seen photos of this in the daylight, but they are nothing compared to this. One of the few examples in the challenge of a photo that is the better for being taken in the dead of night.

Back for another view - definitely my favourite of the challenge - fingers crossed it gets the Blue.

Perhaps not the best photo technically - the grain is good, but the blown highlights are distracting, but my goodness it made me laugh - a real laugh out loud, tea splattering the keyboard laugh. Definitely extra points for that!

First Light

An interesting cloudscape, but the lone tree just doesn't hold enough interest for me. Might have been better if it was framed so that the tree was exactly on the left third, or even quarter, and that way you would have lost the bit that is just coming in to frame.
