Data to Destroyby got2bgutsyComment: Oh goodness - I really do hope you don't enter the What's in my Fridge challenge! Actually, I am rather intrigued as to what it would look like.... |

Wild poppiesby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: The downward perspective gives a slight snap-shot feel to this, but is none the less a pleasing image. A couple of points - the plant that has crept into the left side of the frame is a little distracting and I feel unbalances the composition, and the colour balance seems a tad on the warm side. |

Bleeding Heartsby hernan43Comment: My Dicentra didn't survive the very hard frosts and prolonged snow of the winter before last. Viewing this photo reminds me that I must replace it - it is such an unusual flower, such an 'unlikely' flower! I like the way the flowers stand out so well from the uncluttered background. Only point I would raise is the sharply focussed leaf tip that has crept into the top right of the frame, which does draw my attention somewhat. |

Hey, Bud...by Yo_SpiffComment: Now that's one unusual, vivid and, to be honest, rather ugly flower! I have never seen anything like it before and that is always a bonus - I love the way voting on DPC opens us up to new things. one point, technically, there seems to be some banding in the sky, which you may want to rectify if you ever print this photo. |

lovely dark and deepby jmritzComment: I'm afraid I just don't get what you are aiming for here, and viewing it without that knowledge or understanding, I can only base my vote on the aesthetic appeal the photo holds for me - unfortunately in this instance, not a great deal. Looking forward to returning after voting to read any comments you may have left explaining your take on the challenge. |

After the Rainby craigmacComment: Tradescantia is such a pretty flower, and you have done this one justice. Your choice of dof is spot on, and you have revealed some good textural detail. |

Purple Drops of Spring by hailComment: I like the idea you have gone for here, using a very shallow depth of field to reveal the organic shapes of the flowers curling petals, but feel you needed crisper focus, or perhaps just a little more sharpening, on the parts you are drawing the viewers attention to. |
