Weee k 1by SonifoComment: unfortunately, your girls have extremely bad taste in football teams...because of this, i am afraid I must give it a 1...
as a photo, if I can get around that GB insignia, I think you have done a great job of capturing the fun and joy of youth in a single snap - kudos! |

Daisy-0031by RedDotComComment: the joy and simply perfection of the flower really shines through - i am just unsure if i like the crop to leave out the tips of the petals at the top and bottom |

week-4.jpgby LanndonKaneComment: a wonderful photo displayed as a sketch - layers are usually not my thing, but it provides much needed richness to the image |

Wateringby UrfaKComment: we are all glad you got your mojo back - this one is a sight to behold
wonderful lighting on the water and bricks with just the right control of exposure
the level of details - the crossing lines, the depths of the bricks all provides the right level of complexity. it is funny how we get conditioned to only think simple images are good - i think complexity can work very well and you have done it here |

The River - monoby dainmcgowanComment: i can see why the boat out of water is just that - it seems that if it was in the water, it would quickly find its way to the bottom...very cool stuff
The composition is very solid - the boat in the foreground works well, even in the presence of the complex background. The choice of framing with the bridge really works well. I wonder about the dodging around the boat - it seems a bit overly done compared to the greyness of the rest of the image. |

Week 4 - Stairwayby wickee_oneComment: i know i would not want to be one of the folks using that staircase! it is a great find and i like how you presented it from the perspective. But i feel that the image could use a bit more punch on the contrast - the grey bricks and grey sky seem to overwhelm...wait a sec...maybe that's the point....
Anyway, watch the sharpening - you can really see it along the edge between the building and the sky... |

04_Leanaby em3Comment: a beautiful model and nice framing with the feathers - the natural textures of the skin shines through - but maybe it could use just a bit less shine between the eyes - watch those reflections! |

The Ladsby RetroesqueComment: the uniqueness of togetherness...i love how teenage kids need to rebel against the norm and all end up looking the same. A great image - the placement of the off kilter columns behind provides a nice depth to the background |

snowy.jpgby brownsmComment: Steve - That is my building!!! i think i have a picture just like this that I was considering entering for abandoned buildings. Mine was a lower angle but other than that I think we were there the same day! I ended up stopping by that building about 4 times that week but was never really happy with how they came out. |
