extremely dramatic vista - the lines and angles really make the shot - the colors seem a bit too saturated for my taste but I am sure other DPC voters will love it so it is a good choice here

the composition is outstanding and the light and glow are really charming - but there is something about it that does not quite work out as well as it could be - a bit of motion during the exposure to reduce the tack sharpness of the mill and stationary part? - the overt greens in the water to give an unnatural feel? - something that i can't quite put my finger on

the rise of the road almost gives this an unbalanced feel - I wonder if a higher perspective to show more of the road would have really given this one a lift (and I realize it may not have been possible to do). also, the sky could really have used a few more of those puffy clouds to give it some more interest

lovely nightscape - i can see why you wanted the bridge on the left in the scene but it seems unbalanced with it there - but i wonder if a tighter crop to just on the outside of the left most post would have been in order
