Corbett's Fallsby NeilComment: I find it interesting your comment. I seem to try and eliminate people from my landscapes, and I always find it interesting how when viewing others work - I love the presence of the human element.
On your photo - I really like the choice of subtle vignette here to drive our vision to the falls. The elongated crop works well to emphasize the breadth of the falls. And the choice of the b/w allows us to visualize the textures of the water more than we could in color. I do wonder about one thing - the image almost seems slightly squished in the vertical direction - the fisherman seems 'too short' - not sure what happened there.... |

awkwardby kolasiComment: This image screams awkward - and I agree with posthumous on this - the image is just too subtle to be seen quickly - I under scored you and I gave it an 8.... |

Rugged Coast by jdannelsComment: Lovely image - the 'smoke' on the water works very nicely here and the lines from the rocks really drives us into the scene. Congrats on the Blue |

pink paisleyby JutildaComment: Judy - I really think this is one of the much better entries in the challenge - a natural portrait, with a great use of glasses as a focal point. Possibly a tiny bit oversharpened but I am just nitpicking. Oh, and I can see those great eyes with no issue! |
