I think you were trying to go for the reflection of the music on the flute, but the extreme closeup on this flute (pitted with scratches) shows more imperfections that I think you want to show. Bringing the image out a little to show more of the flute and less of the flaws might help. Also, there are a couple of dark areas on the music that distract - are they shadows or smudges?

For this image to really jump, it would be great to have a musician in the background playing or singing or doing something. THe electronics by themselves seems a little non-personal.

Nice use of reflections - the technicals of this are pretty good - good focus and lighting, but the positions of the guitar seems too far to the right - I really would like to see more of the soundboard and sound hole.

The perspective on this is pretty interesting, but the use of shallow DOF doesn't work for me on this image - not enough seems in focus. In addition, there is a strange bright spot in the background that has a series of rings that is a little distracting.
