Eternal Flameby mauidudeComment: Moving image. I think this is very emotive and hard to comment on without seeming callous. I see a couple of flaws that could really bring this out more. First, the flame seems to have been dodged too much compared to the rest of the image. Second, the focus could be a little sharper. |

Spotted Pleasureby bs-photosComment: this selective desat actually works pretty well for this - but the image itself could use a little sharper focus - the leaf/set of leaves doesn't quite seem fully in focus except for the very top of the image. |

Mackay's Ice Cream - Since 1948by CitadelComment: looks yummy - i thinik this woudl ahve been better without all the items - it has just too much stuff going on - I think the ice creame, the green barrel and maybe the container would probably have been enough. The other thing is that the focus is a little too shallow on the ice cream -too little of the image is in focus |

Waves breakingby wisieComment: Pretty nice prespective on this one. Possible improvements - remove the significant amounts of sensor dust in the upper right, adjust the levels so that the water is not quite so bright and smooth the sky so it is not so striated. |
