Dripby choltmeierComment: nice capture of an almost drop - but the noise and pixelation issues are significant in this shot |

Burning Desireby amateurboiComment: nice use of fire in the background - too bad you didn't clean up the sensor dust (allowable in basic) - it is quite distracting to an otherwise nice image |

Minimalismby thomasjessenComment: i like the minimalistic approach - i just don't like the close cropping on the sides |

old building w color and border.jpgby bennettjamieComment: I agree that you have found one cool building here. The color version works much better than the b/w, most likely due to the fact that the lighting on the front of the building is in shadows. The colors show a lot of nice details that seem to be lost when you converted it to b/w.
I did a quick edit and I will post it here for your viewing. I provided the editing I did to it in the comments section. I think warming the photo up really brings out even more of the cool textures and allows you to see the lettering on the building even better.
I think the crop might be a bit close on the left - espeically on the window - It is a nice shape and adds a lot of interest. Do you have a wider version of this? I really like the brick building on the right and would not crop that one down any further.

Day 7 - Duck Balletby jonfrommkComment: Jon - Nice capture and I love the title. i find it interesting that the waves are present above the ducks but not below. I think a bit more texture on the water would have been nice in the foreground - and I am sure that a Nikon would have been able to pick it up a lot better than that silly excuse for a camera you are dragging around... |

Riding Farm on the Stormby SoulMan1978Comment: i really like the dreamy quality of this shot - the softness of the sky and placement of the chimney and tree at opposite corners along the horizon really anchor this shot |
